PAHIATUA AMUSEMENT CLUB.
| From a Correspondent.. The annual meeting of the Pahiatua Amusement Club was held in the Commercial Hotel, Pahiatua, on Thursday evening. Mr W. Tosswill occupied the chair, and there was a large attendance of members. The balance-sheet showed a credit balance of over £l7. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year President, Mr VV. Tosswill; vice-Presidents, Messrs Narell, Husband, Prosser, Herbert, Smith, Owen, Debrecina, Spilane, Sturton, Burgess, Leigh, Eames, Purdie, Evans, Manifold, Hawkins, Watts, Mitchell, and Drs Dawson and Beard; Secretary, Mr W. Bauche; Auditor, Mr McShane; Treasurer, Mr J. Trezise; Management Committee, Messrs Bentley, Parker, Walsh, Clarke, Zillwood, Eastwood, Sedcole, Chambers and officers ot the club ex officio. It was decided to wait on the Borough Council with reference to obtaining assistance to put the cycling track in order. ' Judging by the interest that is being taken in the club there is every prospect of a successful season.
