LAWN TENNIS.
The following members of the, Thorndon Lawn Tennis Club are taki jg part in the match against the Masterton Tennis Club to-day:— MiSjtaF. M. B. Fisher, J. C. Peacock, R. N. K. Swanston, F. Laishley, L. S. Thompson, and G. Didsbury. The Masterton Club will be represented by Messrs < C. C. Cox, G. G. Aitken, S. R. Gawith, N. D. Bunting, A. R. Sclanders and D. Caselberg. Play will commence at 1 p.m. sharp. Unfortunately, owing to the indefiniteness in regard to the holiday, the Thorndon Club was unable to send up a ladies' team, and the local ladies will not be required to participate in the match.
