SHOT BY A BURGLAR.
Received November 4, 8.33 a.m. LONDON, November 3: Two committeemen of a co-oper-ative store near Gateshead, who were watching their preu ises owing to burglaries having been committed, saw a masked burglar enter the premises. A struggle ensued. One of the watchers was shot dead and the other injured. The burglar escaped.
