LEGISLATION IN FRANCE.' Received November 1,■ 8.15 a.im PARIS, October 3L M. Briand, Minister of Public i Worship, has. introduced into the. Chamber of Deputies a bill to transfer to the Commons, for .the benefit of the poor, all ecclesiastical property unclaimed by the public worship associations. - The bill is intended to stop twenty thousand law suits ' initiated by relatives of the original donors of foundations.
