CENSORSHIP OF PLAYS.
REQUEST FOR ABOLITION. Received October 30, 9.9 a.m. LONDON, October 29. Seventy-seven authors and playwrights have written to Sir Henry Campbell - Bannerman, the Prime Minister, asking for the abolition of the censorship of plays. Many managers refused to join in the request.
