The following will represent the Star Cricket Club in their match against Carlton Cricket Club on Thursday next, on No. 2 wicket, Park Oval. Play is to commence at 2.30 o'clock, and members are requested to be on the ground early:— S. K. Edwards, F. Richards, Len. Richards, Madsen, Blick, Truscoct, J. Bradbury, T. Dwyer, Nixon, G. Thynne and J. McLean. Emergencies Owen and Anson. Members of this club are requested to attend practice at the nets. A match has been arranged between the Star Cricket Club and Pahiatua Cricket Club, to take place on King's Birthday, November 9th, at Masterton. The following will represent the W.F.C.A. against Carterton, on the Park Oval, on Thursday next: Wilson, Schubert. Uren, Parton, Hall, Ralph, A. Caselberg, Pragnell, Phillips, Welch and Fairbrother. Emergencies—Home, McFarlane and Ballard.
