SALE OF FARM ALLOTMENTS.
« —— THE GREENHILL ESTATE. | Farmers on the look-out for desirable farms at a reasonable price should be interested in the announcement of the sale of farm allotments (part of the Greenhill Estate) comprising some of the richest land in Hawke's Bay, which appears on page Bof this morning's issue. The sale is to be conducted by Messrs C. B. Hoadley and Son, Ltd., the wellknown auctioneers of Napier, at the Princess Theatre, Hastings, on Saturday, 23rd, and should attract considerable attention. Nine blocks of land are to be auctioned, varying in area from 114 acres up to 437 acres. The Greenhill Estate is situated about six miles from Hastings, by a good metalled road, and is within an easy drive of Messrs Nelson Bvos.' and Messrs Borthwick's extensive freezing works, and convenient to Central Stortford Lodge Sale Yards, where, during the last twelve months, 150,000 sheep and 7,000 cattle were " yarded. The estate contains some of 1 the most fertile flats and undulating hills to be found in Hawke's Bay. The terms of payment are particu--1 larly easy. Intending buyers will be " taken up to the property by motorcar any time prior to the day of sale. ; Further particulars can be obtained " on application to the auctioneers.
