AFFAIRS IN MOROCCO.
A SHARP FIGHT. Received October 23, 10.52 p.m. MOROCCO, October 23. General Drude's forces had a sharp fight with 5,000 of Mulai Hafid's 1 mounted followers. The latter's losses numbered 50. The encounter was followed by an attempt to ambush the French reconnoitring party. Some tribes involved afterwards submitted. They will deliver their arms to General Drude to-morrow.
