ADULTERATION OF MILK.
By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, October 22. Dr. McArthur, S.M., delivered his reserved judgment to-day, in the case against Henry Bodley, charged with having adulterated milk. A tine of £3 with costs was inflicted, and on the application of the defendant's counsel the Magistrate fixed security for appeal. It was held by Dr. McArthur that there had been mixed with the milk sold formalin to the extent of about three grains per gallon, and that this bad injuriously affected the value of the milk.
