Cattle—Shorthorns, 13; Hereford, 20; Aberdeen 4; Ayrshire 8; Jersey, 80; dairy, 4; fat cattle, 23; total, 20. Sheep—Lincoln, 94; Romney, 156; English Leicester 46; Border Leicestei% 27; Downs, 80; Merino—farmers' class, wool ex fat sheep, 37; total, 440. Pigs—so. Dogs—324. Poultry—lo9. Art and industrial and photographs—--89. Technical Schools —318. Public —383. Needle work—l4s. Home industries —165. Total, 2,732. Entries have been received from all parts of the North Island.
