The members of the Carlton Club held a very successful net practice on the Park Oval yesterday afternoon. There were about a dozen players present, and the form shown promises well for the team this season. The secretary of the Masterton Cricket Association has received information from the Carterton Club that the new wicket in Carterton will not be ready for p'.ay until after Christmas. Consequently the Carterton Club will play all their Cup matches in Masterton until that time.
