A TRAIN DISASTER.
BRIDGE WASHED AWAY. ELEVEN PERSONS DROWNED. Received October 17, 10.39 a.m. MADRID, October 16. Through a flood in a part of the province of Barcelona, a train disaster has to be reported. A bridge between Berga and Mauresa, both small towns, was washed away, and a train was precipitated into the river.
Eleven persons were drownec*.
