BEEKEEPERS' ASSOCIATION.
By Telegraph—Press Association. HASTINGS, October 17. At a meeting of the bee-keepers' last night, Mr Isaac Hopkins' (Government Apiarist) proposal to form a Hawke's Bay Beekeepers' Association was carried into effect, and many members were enrolled, with Rev. Dr. Kennedy as president and Mr Arch Low as secretary and treasurer. The principal object of the association is to join with the Government bee experts in eliminating foul brood disease—practically the one trouble of bee-keepers.
