Mr Ewington said it was only a few clays ago that a case was turned •out of the Hospital cured to all intents and purposes, but lacking that treatment which would have ' been received in a convalescent home. This showed the necessity for a home where such cases could be accommodated, and it was only matter of time when such an establishment would have to be founded. On the motion of the Chairman it -was decided to inform the Benevolent Trustees that their request •could not be complied with. The Chairman was appointed visiting member for the month. Accounts amounting to £llß Os 8d were passed for payment.
