STOCK MARKET.
MASTERTON STOCK SALE. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report as follows on their Masterton stock sale held yesterday:— Small entry in both sheep and cattle. Enquiry for sheep was gocrl, a clearance being made. The cattle yarded were for the most part rough sorts, and bidding was slack. We quote:— Sheep: Hoggets, best 19s Id, others 16s 4d, ewes and lambs 16s 4d to 20s, empty ewes 12s 9d to 14s Gd. Cattle: Fat bullocks £8 to £8 13s, fat cows £6 17s 6d, two-year steers £3 Is, empty heifers £2 to £'<s ss, weaners 33s 6d. Pigs: Stores 19s 6d to 21s 6d.
