OPUNAKE TARRING AND FATHERING INCIDENT.
(By Telegraph—-Parliamentary Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, October 16. The Minister for Justice has informed Mr H. J. H. Okey that he had been informed that it is improbable that further action relating to the recent finding of the New Plymouth Grand Jury in the tarring and feathering case would result satisfactorily. The law relating to Grand Juries could not be amended without the gravest consideration.
