MORRIS TUBE ASSOCIATION.
ANNUAL SMOKE CONCERT
The annual smoke concert of the Masterton Morris Tube Association, to conclude the season, was held in the Foresters' Hall last evening. Mr C. Perry presided over a large attendance. An interim report was submitted. It showed that the Association had started the season with a credit balance of £6 2s Bd, and at the end of the season had a credit; balance of £8 13s Gd. During the season the assets had also increased by £6 8s 4d. In view of this, it was probable that a. reduction in the price of ammunition to members would be considered, but as it was possible that a new range would have to be found next season, no definite promise could be made in this direction. Members were to be congratulated upoi the improvement shown in the shooting during the season. From a comparison in the Renall Cup Competition, this year wich last, it was seen that the Cup was won last year wi*:h a score of 195, and four members scored 190 or over. This year the Cup was won with a score of 210 and twelve members scored 190 or over, while five reached last year's winning score. Hearty thanks were accorded to those who had assisted the Club with trophies and donations, and to Mr H. C.
