THE COMPANIES' REPLY. Received October 16, 7.40 a.m. LONDON, October 15. _ The Railway Companies' Association, in reply to Mr Bell's letter, stated that even if a definition conference wasi desirabb, they were unable to take any action in a matter affecting the relations between each individual company and its staff.
