Heavy Canterbury lambs, 4 15-lGd; rest unchanged. River Plate, sheep—Heavy, 3d. River Plate beef, forequarters 2 15-^, Rabins—Firm, at about a 6d advance for best. Some recent arrivals are in bad condition, the underwriters paying claims. New Zealand hemp—Firm, with prices unchanged. Hides are neglected, and the bulk has been wthdrawn. A few Sydney extra heavy sold at 61d. Leather and basils are unchanged. Wheat—B,ooo quarters of Victoria September-October shipped wheat sold at 43s 6d.
