PRICE OF BREAD.

By Telegraph—Press Association. AUCKLAND, October 14. The master bakers have decided to increase the price of bread to 4d per 21b loaf as from this morning. The President of the Masters' Association states that the increase is unavoidable, owing to the advancing price of flour, which rose on Friday and Saturday until Soul hern milling flour now costs between £l2 10s and £l3 a ton, while it is also probable that a further increase will take place during the'week. The price of wheat, he states, has also increased, and holders will not sell except at the highest figure, the supplies being very limited, and almost all the miils short of grain.
