A SAD CATASTROPHE.
A STEAMER WRECKED. TWENTY-TWO PERSONS DROWNED. Received October 14, 8.19 a.m. NEW YORK, October 13. A sad catastrophe has been reported from Lake Superior. The steamer Cypress, while plying on the lake, was wrecked, and twenty-two persons drowned. One survivor, lashed to a life-raft, was washed ashore.
