KOPUARANGA.
(From Our Own Correspondent.)
On Thursday a young man, who was driving two horses attached to a dray loaded with chaff, met a motor car on a very narrow piece of road. The horses took fright through the car not stopping, and carried the load over a bank—a fall of seven feetsmashing some of the framework. The driver narrowly escaped injury. The number of the car was obtained, and niftre will probably be heard of the matter. Mr C- Ruwe is at preseut on a trip to the Auckland district in search of a suitable farm property. Ploughing and sowing has been greatly hampered by tiia wet weather.
