MANAWATU SHOW.
By Telegraph—Press Association. PALMERSTON N., Oct. 11. Entries ,for the Manawatu A. and P. Show closed at 9 o'clock tc-night. No figures are available, but it can safely be predicted that the show will be one of the must successful ever held in the Dominion. Late fee entries will be received up till next Friday for live stock only. Sheep entries are especially good. A number of imported shce»3 'will be exhibited. In horses, there are also very gocd entries. Entries for the children's sectioft have been pouring in from all parts of the district. An jkcellant exhibit is expected at the Kennel Club Show, even better than former years. It is fully expected that tie show will be one of the mosl successful ever held in the Dominion. The meeting of the North Island Poultry Association, which was to be held on the 14th inst., has been postponed till Show Week, as more me nbers are expected to be present.
