RECORD PRICES.

GISBORNE, October 3. Record prices were made in the saleyards to-day. Thirty shillings was paid for sixty-nine big framed Romney ewes, with seventy-two lambs at foot. The latter are in good condition, and almost ready for the butcher. A line of forty Lincoln wethers we -e sold at twentyseven shillings and threepence. Both prices are a record for the yards.
