NEW SOUTH WALES COAL "VEND."
AFFECT UPON NEW ZEALAND. (By Telegraph— Parliamentary Cor respondent.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. Mr Hogg - , yescerday, asked the Minister of Mines whether in view of what is occurring at Newcastle (in connection with the coal "vend") he will see that plenty of coal measures are reserved for State purposes? Mr McGowan s'ated that the Government fuliy recognised the importance of this matter and the reservations of coal area. 1 ; for State purposes had not been overlooked.
