Reuter states that the newspaper Vossiche Zeitung learns that at the next session of the Reichstag a Bill will be introduced authorising the Fede'ral Council to accord Britain and her colonies the most favoured treatment for a further term of years. The paper adds-: "Whether the Council will be in a position to make use of this right to the same extent as hitherto must depend upon the degree to which the new Australian tariff affects German imports as compared with those of the Motherland."
