EXPRESS TRAINS MEET.

A BRAKESMAN KILLED

Received October 1, 8.45 a.m. PARIS, September 30. During a fog the Orient express collided with the Nancy express at Bar-le-Duc in the Netherlands. The brakesman of the Nancy express was killed. Several other persons were injured.

ANOTHER COLLISION. FIFTY PEOPLE INJURED. Received October 1, 9.59 p.m. LONDON, October 1. A light engine collided with an Edinburgh excursion train at Coatbridge. Fifty people were slightly injured, but none fatally.
