THE SEVASTOPOL INCIDENT.
SIX OFFICERS KILLED.
NINE ARRESTS MADE,
Received October 1, 10.5 p.m. ST. PETERSBURG, Sept. 30. Six officers were killed during the incident at the Sevastopol barracks. Nine arrests have been made.
(An extraordinary affair was reported from Sevastopol Three men, disguised in the uniform of officers, rushed into the barracks of the Brest Regiment, shouting out to the battalion on duty that the commander of the regiment had been killed, and the officers made prisoners. They implored the soldiers to rescue the officers. The commander of the battalion shouted, "These men are impostors!" and the three strangers immediately fired, wounding the commander and- another officer. They then escaped, eluding police and others by pretending that they were pursuing the persons who had fired the shots.)
