PUBLIC SERVANTS AND POLITICS.
(By Telegraph—Parliamentary Correspondent). WELLINGTON, October 1. In the House of Representatives, this afternoon, Mr A. R. Barclay (Dunedin North) gave notice to introduce a Bill to repeal the regulation preventing public servants from taking part in politics. This, of course, is in connection with the McCullough suspension case at Christchurch.
