Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report on their Eketahuna sale held in the Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd , yards, on Friday last, as follows:—Three lines of sheep that were entered did not come forward owing to the flooded state of the creeks; bidding under th.e hammer was brisk for sheep. Cattle were /"neglected, as all in were cows and heifers. We quote: —Hoggets 17s 3d to 17s 7d. and up to 18s 7d, culls 14s, medium fat ewes. 19s Bd, ewes in iamb 18s Sd, poor ewes with lambs at foot 18s Id. * Pigs, sow in pig 40s, weaners 12s to 14s. Store cows 23s to 40s.
