Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Pahiatua sale as follows: —We had an average yarding of both sheep and cattle, but the boisterous weather prevented several lines from coming forward. There wa3 a good demand for sheep, and cattle also sold well. We quote:— Fat wethers 22s 3d to 22s lid, hoggets 16s lOd to 17s 3d, 2-year steers £3 7s 6d, springing cows £5 10s, forward cows £4, store cows 345, heifers in calf £3 2s 6d, heifers and calves £2 lis.
