VALUABLE RACING STOCK.

One of the most valuable consignments of racing stock which have arrived in New Zealand from England during late years ariived at Wellington, yesterday, by the Ruapehu. The lot, comprising two colts and four fillies, are consigned from Mr Andrew Ferguson, Heath House, Newmarket, to Mr G. G. Stead, of Christchurch. The bay colt Charlemagne 11. is three years old, and is by the famed St. Simon (GalopinSt. Angla), whose stud fee is 500 guineas, ex Perfect. The other colt is a bay yearling by Tarporley ex May bud Dream. The fillies are Perolina, a bay two-year-old, by Persimmon ex La Carolina; Lady Wayward, a brown two-year-old, by Ladas ex Vane; a bay filly, two-year-old, by Collar ex Miss Chiffinch; a bay yearling filly by Orme ex Hay Presto.
