DEATH OF A MAORI IDENTITY.
By Telegraph—Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, Sept. 24. One of the best knuwn Maori identities in the district, Moniau Mere Tahana, died on Monday last, the victim of influenza, which has claimed many victims amongst the natives of late.
