- By Telegraph—Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, Sept. 24. The Band Contest Committee hasj adopted the following programme for the" contest in February:—Test selection "A" grade, first prize £IOO and Besson Shield, 25 silver medals and one gold medal: second prize, £45; third prize, £2O and trophy. "B" grade—First prize, £2O and Boosey Shield; second prize, £10; third prize, s£s. Marching Contest (all bands to compete)— First prize, ,£3O; second prize, £2O; third prize, £ls; fourth prize, fifth prize, £5. There-will also be fifteen solo competitions, for which gold and silver medals are to be awarded
