SOUTHLAND EMPLOYERS' ASSOCIATION.

The Employers' Association, tonight considered the recommendations from the Advisory Board of the Employers' Federation re the Arbitration Amendment Bill. The local employers' most urgent demand is that the Chairman of the proposed Industrial Council should be appointed 1 y a judg« of the Supreme Court. The Association also recommend employers to close places of business on November 11th instead of Novembz: 9th (Kind's Birthday).
