Cunningham, of the local team, is to be married to-morrow, and will not play. The scrum will be locked by McGuire, and Hall will be played in the back row. Mr R. Oliphant has been appointed referee. Jenkins, the veteran Southland footballer, completed his seventy-first representative match on Saturday last, and his twenty-first season as rep. player Of the thirty-five matches played between Southland and Otago he has only missed one, and thatf owing to his being absent in the north taking part in the interisland match.
