A GOVERNMENT CAUCUS.
PRIVILEGES OF MEMBERS. (By Telegraph—Parliamentary Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, Friday. A full Government caucus ws-s held to-day, lasting a couple of hours. The principal matters discussed related to the privileges of members, the most important of which related to the conduct of a particular member, which was considered derogatory to Parliament. The Premier promised to communicate with the friends of the member complained of with a view to having matters put right. Before the party disbanded the Premier expressed the hope that members would work together to get through the important business of the session. Sir Joseph Ward has informed me that if the party worked together there was every prospect of getting through by the end of November.
