ANNIVERSARY OF WELLING-
TON BRANCH

WELLINGTON, September 19
The anniversary ot the Wellington Branch of the Y.M.C.A. was held in th« Town Bali this evening.
It is estimated that about 2,000 sat down to tea, and 3,000 at least attended the meeting held later.
His Excellency the Governor presided, and many members of Parliament and leading citizens occupied seats on the platform. Speeches were delivered by Mr H. N. Holmes, General Secretary, Mr Lyman L. Pierce, National Secretary for Australia and New Zealand, and others.
The branch has now 800 members.
