A COLLISION.
SMALL STEAMER SUNK. Received September 19, 10.25 p.m. LONDON, September 19. While engaged in trials on the Clyde, the Maori, a new steamer, collided with a small steamer called the Kintyre, which sank. The crew were saved. The Maori s bows weie damaged. The Maori was insured tor £IIO,OOO, including trial risks. The collision was the result of misunderstood signals.
