NEW MUSEUM FOR WELLINGTON.

By Telegraph—Press Association

WELLINGTON, Sepember 18. Cabinet has decided to build a new Museum in Wellington on the Government Reserve at Mt. Cook, probably on the brow of the hill immediately in front of the Alexandra Barracks, and overlooking the harbour. The building will be of brick, and as fireproof as possible. The Mt. Cook Museum will accommodate the national Maori collection of historical records, which have been gathered, and also the ordinary national history collection.
