MONTGOMERY'S ENTERTAINERS.
Of a recent entertainment given by Montgomery's Entertainers a contemporary says:—ln the comedian "business" Mr Will Monks kept the audience in a simmer of merriment. His song "Do, ra, me," made a "hit," and together with an eccentric dance was encored. Mr H. Thomas sang a descriptive song on a touching Court scene. Mr E. Montgomery gave a fine rendition of "I Want to be a Soldier." The song, which has a tuneful tilt, was nicely illustrated with coloured slides. When the words of the chorus were thrown on the screen the "gods" joined in the refrain. The Company will appear at Masterton to-morrow night. The prices of admission are 2s, Is 6d, and Is.
