By Telegraph—Press Association,
AUCKLAND, September 13. News has been received by the Atua that the schooner Charlotte, which was supposed to be lost with sixty natives, arrived at Niafoona safely. She was carried to seaward 2,000 miles on what was ordinarily a two days' passage. Food and water ran short, and the seventy persons aboard suffered greatly from hunger and thirst.
