THE APIARIES BILL.

(By Telegraph—Parliamentary Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, September 12. In the Legislative Council, to-day, the Apiaries Bill was committed and reported without amendment on the motion for the third reading. The Hon. J. Anstey (Canterbury) expressed regret that certain amendments which he had suggested had not been embodied in the Bill. The Act would require to be administered with great caution, and judgment, and he hoped the Department concerned with the diseases of bees would continue investigations with a view to eliciting more knowledge on the subject. The Bill was read a third time and passed.
