HORSE-MAIMING AT GREAT WYRLEY.
Received September 9, 8.35 a.m. LONDON, September. 8. A cap was found in the field at Great Wyrley, where ' mares were mutilated, and a broken pipe was found in the vicinity. This constitutes the chief circumstantial evidence against Morgan. It is reported that nine witnesses support Morgan's alibi. (Morgan is a young butcher employed at Wolverhampton, and living near Great Wyrley. The maiming of the two mares occurred on August 26th).
