THE ANTWERP STRIKE.
FIRE 3 STILL RAGING. GREAT DAMAGE DONE. Received September 6, 8.22 a.m. ANTWERP, September 5. The timber fires started by tne strikers continue to rage. The damage is estimated at several million francs. Two streets were threatened. The water supply was defective. Firo brigades from Brussels and Ghent and a battalion of Engineers helped to subdue the flames.
