TWO ARRESTS MADE,

The theft of a German secret artillery book containing instructions regarding the use of a new breechJoading gun led to the arrest of two non-commissioned officers atCoblentz and Metz; also of two civilians on the frontier who had in their possession compromising documents. It is suspected there was a plot to supply France with secrets.
