HALF-HOLIDAY QUESTION.
By Telegraph—Press Association. INVERCARGILL, September 2. The Executive Committee of the Wednesday Half-Holiday Association resolved, to-night—"That this meeting strongly protests against the amending clause in the Factories Act making any population limit, and urges that the* principle of option should be universally allowed; a telegram to be sent to the-Premier, Minister of Labour, Minister of Lands, and Southern members accordingly."
