CHRISTCHURCH, September 2. The winter test (May 19th to August 31st) in the Egg-laying Competition at Lincoln College was concluded on Saturday, and was won by Mr W. Knight's Black Orpingtons with 412 eggs, Mr T. ■ Kennedy's Silver Wayndottes being second with 403, and Mr Allan Petrie's White Leghorns third with 399. The prizes amount to £lO.
