BROWN SHIELD
By Telegraph—Press Association. AUCKLAND, August 31. The final match for the Brown Shield, under the New Zealand Football Association rules, was played here, to-day, in wet weather, between Auckland and Wellington. A snlendid game resulted in a win for Auckland by three goals to one. The winners undoubtedly had the best team, and will hold the Shield till 1908.
