WELL INGTON LAND BOARD.
The monthly meeting of the Wellington Land Board was held, on Thursdy, when there were presentMr J. Strauchon (Commissioner for Crown Lands), Messrs A. Reese, J. Dawson, J. M. A'Court, and 0. J. Cauton. The titles of the following lessees in regard to the lands referred to were approved:—A. McLeod, sections ID and IC, block 7, Mount Cerberus district; V. J. N. Richards, section 279, block 11, Wainuiovu. approvals are subject to improvements being effected. The Board, witn regard to the proposed transfer of section 3, block J 2, fluangarua, from M. C. Marshall to R. L. McLaven, decided not to grant the application. With reference to the proposed transfer of section 5, block 8, Huangarua, to T. R. Eaton, it was resolved to recommend the Minister of Lands to consent to the transfer. The Com • missioner was the only dissentient to this resolution. The transfer of section 6, block 16, Wairarapa, from J. Clarkson to J. Taylor, was approved. The following additional transfers were also approved: —Section 35, block 5, Mount Cerberus, from W. J. Cox to W. Cox; section 1, block 15, Manganui, from W. and W. N. Wardrupto W. N. Wardrup; section 38, block 4, Mount Cerberus, from F. Burling to W. Holden; section 27, block 2, Mount Cerberus, from F. Burling to W. Holden; section 74, block 18, Mangahao, from N. Sampson to E. Knox; section 2A, block 9, Makuri, R. Forster to A. L.Jack; section 12, block 9, Mangahao, from V. C. Narhey to C. E. Lelievre; section 24, block 9, Mangahao, from V. C. Narbey to M. M. Lelievre; section 83, block 1, Makuri, from C. H. Parker to F. Woods; section 20, block 1, Mangaone, from L. P. Bennett to S. H. Fraser; section 47, block 18, Mangahao, from G. Wood to A. Wheatley; section 36, block 7, fararua, from E. J. Whyte to A. Curlett. These approvals are subject to the residence conditions being complied with. On the application of C. McDonald to transfer sections 6, 7, and 8, Pongaroa Village Settlement, to C. J. Bailington, it was decided to obtain a report from the Crown Lands Ranger. Subject to a favourable report from the ranger, the application of H. F. Petersen, to subdivide and transfer part of section 43, block 18, Mangahao, to G. Reeves, was approved. C. S. Hyland's application to transfer sections 14 A and 6, block 4, Puketoi, to R. Rooerts/and R. E. Hyland'gs application to transfer section 5, block 4, Puaetoi, to R. Roberts, were approved, subject to Mrs R. E. Hyland's residence having been complied with! J. McCardle's application, to transfer sections 15, and 16, block 6, Aohanga, to H. Thomas, was approved.
